While there's not much better than being able to grab an Orange Apple straight from the tree & sink your teeth into its crunchy, succulent skin, every now & then someone with major cooking talent finds another way to enjoy our fruit.
Orange is well-renowned for its food culture - in fact many top NSW restaurants call the Orange Region home. Lolli Redini, Tonic, Racine & Bistro Ceello to name a few. Many other well known & highly respected chefs operate in the region including Michael Manners, Lesley Russell, Rhonda Doyle, Lindl Taylor and Kim Currie.
What's even better is the fact that all of them love cooking with Orange Apples.
So we've asked each of them to supply us with a favourite recipe or two stressing that unless Orange Apples are used in them, the recipes won't quite deliver the true experience that they are designed to do.
